The only reason for this is that I need content to put here, so if there's anything that ought to be here, let me know.

The pub is open most days of the week around the 5pm mark. Keep an eye on the notice board at the gate for special occasions. It certainly has been a great treat having a facility such as our clubhouse, we do all certainly appreciate it.

For those of you 'previously disadvantaged' residents (those without ABSA Stadium season tickets), the Sharks and the Springboks have a great following of resident supporters who gather in the pub for most of the big games - on the BIG screen. It's a great atmosphere and you need to get there early to ensure a seat. 

...FUNCTIONS - If you have a function or a party looming on the horizon, do your self a favour and contact Alex early. Its a wonderful venue for a function or party and as can be seen already, it very popular so do as I say, get in early.

... Most important,  The pub needs your support!!!  And what's more comforting than not having to do a flight plan  for the home journey after two cases of beer, just to get around the road blocks!?!

... Augusta league squash has unfortunately been cancelled after four years. The team has had a good run in the 6th league but unfortunately struggled to field a full team or get enough players commit and which was mainly compounded by players either away and or injured and we suffered through many penalty points.

All is not lost though ...we are about to get the Augusta Squash Championship underway in May this year (2008) and all residents are invited to register to play in the competition. It is open to both male and female players and will finish off with some nice prizes for all participants.

All squash players wishing to participate, please register by mailing your full name, addres, home and cell numbers as well as shirt size to squash@augusta.co.za. Notices will shortly go up around the courts and clubhouse to this effect. Please ensure you are registered before the 15th April 2008.

Those of you wishing to just have a good run and a sweat to work off the weekend excess, lets all try and get together on Monday evenings from 17h30 on - there's bound to be a number of you who simply want to play for the fun of it.

For the year 2007 we have seen an average of 200 Unique/New visitors to the web site each and every month. The keywords used (html meta tags) included in the web site are:   residential estate, security, secure, golf, golfing, freehold, sectional  title, for sale, sold, tennis, squash, bowls, pool, clubhouse, homes, houses,s implex,d uplex, augusta, augusta country estate. 

These are the keywords that can be looked up when someone on the internet does a search that includes any one of these words. If there are any other words that anyone feels should be included (or excluded for that matter), please do contact the webmaster on talk2us@augusta.co.za

Those of you looking to sell your homes, with an average of 200 Unique/New visitors a month, it is certainly a great audience to advertise your homes for sale. (see extract of 2007 web stats at the bottom of this page.)
